Aggravated Assault Arrest Made in Tupelo Shooting
TUPELO, Miss. — September 22, 2025 — Tupelo Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a weekend shooting outside Holland’s Bar and Grill on North Gloster Street.
On Sunday, September 21, officers responded to reports of gunfire at the bar’s parking lot, located at 3952 North Gloster Street. When they arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to North Mississippi Medical Center for treatment.
Police say responding officers quickly identified a suspect and located him nearby. He was taken into custody without further incident.
After further investigation, detectives charged Chance M. Brown (24, Tupelo) with two counts of aggravated assault.
On Monday, September 22, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Brown to be held without bond. Authorities confirmed the case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
The investigation remains ongoing.
