ABB expanding operations in Senatobia

  • Electrification technology company creating 122 jobs
  • Project represents a corporate investment of $40 million

April 14, 2025 – Global electrification technology company ABB is expanding operations in Senatobia to meet growing market demand. The project represents a corporate investment of $40 million and will create 122 jobs.

The expansion includes the addition of 200,000 square feet to the company’s Senatobia facility, as well as the addition of new equipment, which will enable ABB to increase production of its air circuit breaker and molded case circuit breaker lines.

Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX, program. Tate County and the city of Senatobia also are assisting with the project.

Switzerland-based ABB is a leading manufacturer of electrification and automation technology and has been operating in the U.S. for more than 100 years. ABB employs 17,000 across 40 manufacturing, distribution and R&D locations in 20 states. This investment in Senatobia is the latest in ABB’s $3 billion of investments in the U.S. since 2017.

ABB expects to complete the expansion during the first quarter of 2026.
