“Please remember to always remain safe, vigilant, and alert when driving to protect yourself and others on the road during this holiday season,” said Department of Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell. “As we gather with our family and friends, let’s take a moment to remember and thank those with the Mississippi Highway Patrol, all law enforcement agencies, and first responders who are working to keep us safe this Christmas.”
“With the Christmas season upon us, the Mississippi Highway Patrol encourages everyone to drive responsibly, ensuring a safe holiday filled with joy alongside family and friends,” said James Ivory, Lt. Colonel of the Mississippi Highway Patrol. “We are committed to enhancing public safety through the diligent enforcement of traffic laws alongside our local partners. Our primary goal is for everyone traveling on Mississippi roadways to reach their destination safely, allowing all to celebrate a Merry Christmas.”
