Ty Pinkins receives endorsement of The Collective PAC
Aug 19, 2024 – Mississippi U.S. Senate candidate Ty Pinkins, has received the endorsement of The Collective PAC, the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to enhancing Black political involvement, representation, and influence in all levels of government.
Pinkins is the Democratic candidates running against Republican incumbent U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) in the November general election.
Founded in August of 2016, The Collective PAC has endorsed and supported hundreds of Black candidates and has helped those candidates win general elections at the local, state, and federal levels across the country. The organization works to rectify the underrepresentation of the Black community in elected seats of power throughout America.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to be endorsed by The Collective PAC. Our joint commitment to advancing progressive policies that elevate the Black community and propel America forward is truly inspiring. I am eager to unite our efforts to create a significant positive impact in our community” said Pinkins.
The Collective PAC comprises six separate legal entities, each with distinct yet complementary missions aimed at enhancing Black political influence. Since 2020, the entities have achieved significant milestones including fundraising, rideshare programs to the polls, and voter registrations. The organization has also helped to elect over 350 Black candidates to various levels of elected office.
“Black candidates nationwide are at the forefront of advocating for shared values. They are championing causes such as safeguarding workers’ rights, environmental protection, advocating for equal pay for women, and reforming the criminal justice system. These leaders emphasize that politicians should aim to improve the lives of families rather than create more challenges. I’m proud to be a part of this amazing group of community leaders.” Pinkins continued.
