Vicksburg police seek public help locating man wanted for credit card fraud

VICKSBURG, Mississippi — The Vicksburg Police Department is asking the public for help locating a man wanted in connection with a credit card fraud investigation, police said.

Police identified the suspect as Mark Anthony Miller II, born Feb. 14, 1980. Authorities said Miller is wanted for credit card fraud. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Vicksburg Police Department at 601-636-2511 or Investigator Barfield at 601-876-8494.

The Vicksburg Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the city of Vicksburg and routinely requests public assistance when searching for suspects in financial crimes. Credit card fraud can involve unauthorized use of cards or account information and can lead to financial loss for individuals and businesses, investigators say.

Public tips often help law enforcement locate suspects more quickly and prevent further incidents. Authorities encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward and to avoid confronting anyone suspected of a crime.
