Pike County Sheriff’s Office releases weekly crime report

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office on Friday released its weekly crime report for Jan. 23-29, 2026, the agency said. The notice was provided by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Department, and the Facebook post accompanying the release included the hashtag #ServiceBeforeSelf.

The office did not provide incident-level details in the social media post. Weekly crime reports from sheriff’s offices typically summarize calls for service, arrests, traffic incidents, active investigations and public safety advisories to inform residents and aid transparency.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office serves as the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of the county. Its responsibilities commonly include patrol, criminal investigations, operation of the county jail and coordination with municipal and state law enforcement agencies.

Such routine reports help residents stay informed about public safety and local law enforcement activity. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
