Pike County sheriff asks public to help contact man
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help contacting Marlon B. Taylor Jr., the office said in a Facebook post. The post says Taylor is not believed to be in danger and has not been charged with any crime.
Sheriff’s officials said Taylor’s family is very concerned about his whereabouts and the office wants to help the family make contact. The request is for information that could assist in locating or contacting Taylor, rather than an investigation or a missing-person case.
The sheriff’s office provided a contact number, (601) 783-6767, for anyone with information to call. The post also notes that Taylor is not listed as a missing person and is not under investigation. The message was signed by Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency serving the county and often asks for public assistance when families express concern about relatives. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
