Pedestrian dies after being struck by multiple vehicles on Robinson Street in Jackson

JACKSON — A man died Sunday night after being struck by multiple vehicles on Robinson Street near Kenmore Drive, the Jackson Police Department said.

Officers responded to the scene about 8:15 p.m. on March 22 and found an unidentified Black man who had died from his injuries, police said. Authorities said several vehicles were involved, including a black Honda Accord and a 2000 Ford Ranger.

The department’s Accident Investigations Unit and Mobile Crime Unit were called to process the scene, police said. No arrests have been made and no citations have been issued. The Hinds County coroner took custody of the body, and the victim’s identity has not been released; notification of next of kin is pending.
