Ocean Springs Police recruit at Coastal Mississippi job fair
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. — The Ocean Springs Police Department is recruiting at the 2026 Coastal Mississippi Job Fair today at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) Health, Physical and Aquatic Education Building in Jackson County, the department said on its Facebook page.
Department representatives said they will answer questions about the hiring process, qualifications, training, benefits and what a day in the life at the Ocean Springs Police Department looks like. Officials encouraged people interested in becoming an officer, dispatcher or civilian support staff to stop by the department’s table and pick up information.
The Ocean Springs Police Department serves the city of Ocean Springs on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The department’s Facebook post included the recruiting tagline: “Serve. Protect. Be Part of the Community.”
Organizers and department staff will be on site to speak with attendees and distribute materials. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
