The Mississippi Highway Patrol posted Episode 3 of “Commissioner’s Corner” on its Facebook page, announcing that Director Carleton and Captain Harrington discuss training and Cadet Class 70.
The post says the episode covers what it takes to become a cadet, what cadets are learning and how they are preparing to serve and protect Mississippi.
The Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers’ Training Academy provides basic training for recruits from agencies across the state. Academies such as this typically combine classroom instruction, physical conditioning and scenario-based exercises to prepare new officers for patrol duties and public safety responsibilities.
