MADISON COUNTY — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday asked the public to help locate a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that involved a shooting, authorities said.
Sheriff’s investigators identified the suspect as Antonio Harris, 31, and said he is wanted after allegedly shooting a victim with a handgun. The sheriff’s office described Harris as a Black male about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
Authorities said Harris should be considered armed and dangerous and urged residents not to approach him. Officials asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately.
A reward of up to $2,500 may be available for information leading to Harris’ arrest, authorities said.
