The Jackson Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating 18-year-old Lydasia Zyneice Stanford, the department said in a Facebook post. Stanford was last seen at Merit Health Hospital on Feb. 6, 2026, wearing a black top and black tights, according to the post. Her medical condition is currently unknown.
The department described Stanford as 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds with red hair. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Jackson Police Department at 769-275-1249 or the tip line at 601-356-TIPS (8477), the post said.
The Jackson Police Department is the primary municipal law enforcement agency for Mississippi’s capital and regularly investigates missing-person reports and coordinates with hospitals, community members and other agencies in such cases. Public tips often play a key role in locating missing people and ensuring their safety.
