Hattiesburg Police Department extended its deepest condolences to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office after Deputy Michael Jimerson was killed in the line of duty last night, the department said in a Facebook post.
The post said the Hattiesburg department’s thoughts and prayers are with Jimerson’s family, friends and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office during an “incredibly difficult time.”
