Gautier police have arrested a man in connection with an investigation into the sexual battery of a child, authorities said.
The suspect was identified as David Pittman. Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
Police urged anyone with information about the case, or who believes they or someone they know may have been victimized, to contact law enforcement. Authorities said reports will be handled with sensitivity and confidentiality.
