Authorities arrested three people in connection with a shooting on Hayes Street on March 21, officials said Wednesday.
Officers who arrived at the scene learned that three people had already been taken by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment, the March 24 news release posted on Facebook said.
The release identified those arrested as Catriama Pugh, 32, who was charged with accessory after the fact; Quanneisheia Pugh, 34, who was charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon; and Omarion Nelson, 20, who was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
Authorities did not provide additional details about the circumstances of the shooting or the condition of the people who were hospitalized. The charges listed in the release range from accessory after the fact to aggravated assault with a firearm.
