Memorial Service Set for Officer Robert Lee Myers in Byram
The Myers family announces a memorial service for Officer Robert Lee Myers on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, in Byram, Mississippi.
The service will be at Chancellor Funeral Home, located at 7225 Siwell Road. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., followed by the memorial at 11 a.m.
The family invites friends, colleagues and community members to honor Myers, whose life was marked by integrity, compassion and service. They also ask for continued prayers and support during this time.
Tyree D. Jones, chief of police for the Jackson Police Department, and the Hinds County sheriff, also expressed condolences.
