The Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office condemns the recent killing and improper disposal of geese, describing the act as both illegal and unethical, according to a Facebook post.
The post states that an off-duty deputy recorded someone dumping the birds and that authorities have identified the individual responsible. The sheriff’s office says it will be in contact soon.
The agency urges the public to follow wildlife laws and report violations.
