Lori Hill joins Fitch human trafficking summit Feb. 6

Statewide Human Trafficking Coordinator Lori Hill will participate as a panelist at Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s Human Trafficking Awareness Summit on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, according to a Facebook post announcing the event.

The post said the summit aims to foster collaboration, raise awareness and help move Mississippi forward in the fight against human trafficking. Organizers encouraged the public to sign up using the registration link posted online.

Summits of this type often bring together law enforcement, social-service providers, nonprofit advocates and other stakeholders to coordinate prevention, investigation and victim services. Human trafficking is a serious crime that state and local officials have increasingly identified as a priority for public safety and victim support efforts.

A statewide human trafficking coordinator typically works to link agencies, support training and improve services for survivors, though roles vary by state. Lynn Fitch is the attorney general of Mississippi and has hosted public awareness and enforcement initiatives on the issue.
