Biloxi allows fireworks on New Year’s Eve, Fourth of July, and Tet with permits

Fireworks are generally banned inside Biloxi city limits, but the city permits them on specific dates, according to the Biloxi Fire Department.

Fireworks are allowed on New Year’s Eve from 6 p.m. December 31 to 1 p.m. January 1. They are also permitted on the Fourth of July and during the first three days of Tet, but only in conjunction with the Dragon Dance, which requires a special permit.

The fire department urges residents to prioritize safety when using fireworks. They advise only lighting fireworks outdoors, keeping them away from children unless supervised, and never igniting them near buildings or wooded areas.
