Alabama Extends Mask Mandate into April
In a press conference on Thursday, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey announced the extension of the state’s mask mandate until April 9.
Masks are required to be worn in public and when in close contact with others.
The mask mandate is a part of the state’s “Safer at Home” order.
This decision comes on the heels of Mississippi and Texas lifting many of their restrictions relating to COVID-19 on Wednesday.
