Tunica County Sheriff’s Office to Issue Warrant for Those Who Violate Statewide Isolation Order
The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office announced in a statement on Tuesday that the department would fully comply with the order made by State Health Official Dr. Thomas Dobbs that COVID-19 positive individuals must isolate at home for 14 days.
The statement made by the office can be found below:
“The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office received the following alert today concering a statewide order for the isolation of individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.”
“Anyone infected with COVID-19 and not hospitalized MUST remain in the home or other appropriate residential location for 14 days from onset of illness (or from the date of a positive test for those who are asymptomatic).”
“TCSO will be enforcing this and warrants will be issued to those in violation. We must all do our part to limit the spread of the virus, if you are sick, PLEASE STAY HOME.”
