COVID Cases in Mississippi Surpass 1,000+ Daily Mark for First Time In A Week
Despite the statewide mask mandate and enhanced social distancing guidelines imposed by Tate Reeves two weeks ago, over 1,000 coronavirus cases were reported today for the first time since last week.
On Wednesday, the Mississippi Department of Health reported 1,348 new cases along with 34 deaths.
That puts Mississippi at an all-time total of 74,555 cases with 2,163 deaths. 56,577 has presumably recovered from the virus.
