Webster County, Mississippi — The Webster County Health Department will remain closed through April while remodeling work continues, the Mississippi State Department of Health said.
MSDH officials said phone calls to the Webster County office will be transferred to the Calhoun County Health Department during the closure. Residents can contact Calhoun County Health Department at 662-412-3260 for assistance while the Webster office remains closed, MSDH said.
County health departments typically provide services such as vaccinations, disease testing and maternal and child health programs, and temporary closures can affect how residents access those services. MSDH said the temporary closure is part of ongoing improvements aimed at better serving the community.
