Waveland police seek help identifying suspect in March vehicle thefts

The Waveland Police Department is asking the public to help identify an individual shown in photos posted by Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers. Investigators say the person committed several vehicle burglaries and stole a vehicle from a Ford dealership in Waveland on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

The photos and notice were published on Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers’ Facebook page. The post directs people with information to contact Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS. The post says information must come through Crime Stoppers to qualify for a reward.

Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers is a community-based organization that works with local law enforcement to collect anonymous tips and offer rewards to encourage information leading to arrests. Crime Stoppers programs commonly allow callers and app users to remain anonymous while providing investigators with leads.

Waveland is a coastal city in Hancock County, and vehicle burglaries and thefts can have economic and public-safety impacts on residents and businesses. Police ask anyone who recognizes the person in the photos or who has relevant information to contact Crime Stoppers as instructed.
