Vicksburg police seek help identifying person in shooting
The Vicksburg Police Department is asking the public to help identify an individual in connection with a recent shooting, the department said in a post on its Facebook page.
The department used a BOLO — short for “be on the lookout” — to alert residents and solicit tips. Police departments frequently issue BOLOs when investigators need the public’s assistance to locate people who may have information or who may be involved in a crime.
Vicksburg Police Department serves the city of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and responds to violent-crime incidents as part of its public safety duties. Public appeals like this can speed investigations by generating leads, corroborating timelines, or identifying witnesses, officials say in similar cases.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vicksburg Police Department through its official communication channels. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
