Vicksburg plans busy spring break schedule for youth
Vicksburg’s municipal youth program announced on social media that it will offer a full week of supervised activities for young people during spring break in March. City of Vicksburg Youth Services said the lineup is intended to keep youth active and engaged while school is out.
The Facebook post listed events including Friday Nights Done Right, Game Night, Movie Night Under Stadium Lights, Boys & Bytes and Girls & Gadgets. The post also included the line, “Hustlers don’t stop, they keep going,” and used hashtags promoting the effort.
City-run youth services typically organize recreational and educational programs designed to provide safe, structured alternatives for young people during out-of-school periods. Officials said the events are meant to be fun and engaging and urged parents to mark their calendars and spread the word.
Local spring break programming can help families by offering supervised activities and opportunities for social connection. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
