Two Booneville men charged in Prentiss County shed burglary
Two Booneville men were charged after a Prentiss County shed was burglarized earlier this month, the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies said the investigation began Feb. 6, 2026, after authorities received a report that a shed on County Road 1219 had been broken into and several items were stolen. On Feb. 14, investigators identified Dustin Blade Asher, 23, and Austin Tyler Adams, 30, both of Booneville, as suspects.
Both men have been charged with burglary of a commercial building, the department said. Adams also faces charges of possession of a weapon by a felon and conspiracy and is being charged as a habitual offender. Bond was set at $25,000 for Asher and $105,000 for Adams.
The case will be presented to the next Prentiss County grand jury by Investigator Aaron Stolz. Investigators Torie Jumper and Kolby Knight assisted with the probe, the department said. Burglary charges generally allege unlawful entry with intent to commit a crime and carry potential prison terms if convictions occur. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
