Terry police seek two suspects in Maxie Street shooting

Terry police are asking the public to help locate two people wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that left one person with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, officers with the Terry Police Department were notified of a shooting in the 1100 block of Maxie Street in Terry, Mississippi, according to a post from Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers on Facebook.

Officials identified the suspects as Kameka Henry, a 22-year-old Black woman, 5-foot-3 and about 170 pounds, and La’Quan Moore, a 27-year-old Black man, 5-foot-10 and about 200 pounds. Both are wanted on charges of aggravated assault, the post said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477). Tips that lead to an arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,500. Tips also may be submitted online at https://www.p3tips.com/tipform.aspx?ID=116#.
