Southaven supervisors attend FBI-LEEDA institute; Pressgrove receives Trilogy Award
Southaven Police Department said this week that several of its senior supervisors attended the FBI-LEEDA Command Leadership Institute hosted by Bartlett Police Department.
The department said Captain Pressgrove attended the institute along with Sergeant Blevins and Lieutenants Borders, Gaines and Smith. In a Facebook post, Southaven Police Department commended the supervisors for their commitment to advancing their leadership skills.
Southaven said Captain Pressgrove received the Trilogy Award at graduation after completing three core classes designed for senior law enforcement supervisors. The department thanked Bartlett Police Department and instructor Anthony Batts for hosting and teaching the program.
FBI-LEEDA programs provide leadership and executive training aimed at improving supervision, decision-making and organizational management in law enforcement agencies. Departments often send supervisors to such courses to strengthen internal leadership and enhance community policing efforts.
This recognition highlights the department’s focus on professional development for its command staff. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
