Ridgeland police seek help identifying man wanted in bank scam
RIDGELAND, Mississippi — The Ridgeland Police Department is asking the public to help identify an unknown man wanted for questioning in connection with a bank scam that involved a local resident, the department said. The incident occurred in late January 2026, investigators said.
Police described the man as wearing a dark-colored hoodie with “Golden State Warriors” embroidered on the front. Investigators said they want to speak with anyone who recognizes him or who may have information that could assist the inquiry.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgeland Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 601-856-2121. Tips may also be reported to Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477) or through the organization’s website at www.centralmscrimestoppers.com, authorities said.
