Regional sheriffs hold strategic planning meeting
Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones and his leadership team recently hosted a strategic planning meeting with area county and parish sheriffs at the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, the agency said in a Facebook post.
The meeting brought together regional law enforcement leaders to collaborate, share ideas and strengthen partnerships aimed at enhancing public safety across participating communities, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Department said.
The agency said a few chiefs stepped in to represent sheriffs who were unable to attend, and officials expressed appreciation for the participation. The post offered special thanks to Mrs. Debbie at Oak Hill Estates for supporting the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.
Photos accompanying the post identified participants, left to right: Chief Fred Oswald; Washington Parish Sheriff Steve Rushing; Lincoln County Sheriff Kyle Breland; Walthall County Sheriff Berkley Hall; Marion County Chief Ben Ballard; Livingston Parish Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones; Pike County Sheriff Tim Wroten; Amite County Major Lance Falvey; Pike County Sheriff Ryan “Hoss” Everett; Lawrence County Chief Damian Gatlin; and Pike County Major Jewel Hines, the department said.
Sheriffs and chiefs regularly use strategic planning to coordinate responses to crime, emergency incidents and cross-jurisdictional public-safety challenges. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
