Rankin County Sheriff’s Office thanks Holmes Community College after career fair
Rankin County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that it thanked Holmes Community College for inviting its staff to a Law Enforcement Career Fair at the college’s Ridgeland campus.
The post did not include additional details about the event, but the acknowledgment highlights routine outreach by local law enforcement to recruit, inform and build ties with students and the community.
Rankin County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency for Rankin County in Mississippi and frequently participates in community events to promote public safety and careers in policing. Holmes Community College operates a Ridgeland campus and provides career and technical programs designed to connect students with regional employers.
Career fairs offer an opportunity for agencies to explain hiring requirements, training pathways and day-to-day responsibilities, and for students to learn about career options in public safety. Such events can be an important step in filling vacancies and improving community relations.
We will provide more information as it becomes available.
