Pike County sheriff seeks public help after U-Haul sighting
Pike County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying two people seen driving a U-Haul truck on Magnolia Progress Road, the office said in a Facebook post. Authorities did not release the names of the individuals or say why they are seeking them.
Sheriff Wally Jones is asking anyone with information about the vehicle or observed suspicious activity in the area to contact the sheriff’s office at (601) 783-6767 or Crime Stoppers of Southwest Mississippi at 1-800-222-8477, the post said. The office asked that people should not approach or engage the individuals and should report information directly to authorities.
The post said Jones would like to speak with anyone who may have knowledge of the individuals’ whereabouts or activities on April 1, 2026. The message was attributed to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Department.
