Oxford Police Department welcomes victims’ services intern
Oxford Police Department announced on its Facebook page that Ava Gaddis has joined the department as a Victims’ Services intern.
OPD said Gaddis will work closely with its Victims’ Services team and receive hands‑on experience throughout her time with the department.
Victims’ Services units typically offer support, referrals and advocacy for people affected by crime and work with investigators, prosecutors and community partners to help coordinate resources. Internships in such units give students and early‑career professionals direct exposure to victim advocacy, case management and the operations of local law enforcement agencies.
The department said it is excited to have Gaddis on board and looks forward to her contributions to the team. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
