Organizers postpone Light Up the Night to Feb. 6 because of weather

Organizers said in a Facebook post that they are postponing the Light Up the Night event until Feb. 6 due to impending inclement weather. The post said organizers will publish a reminder closer to the new date.

Light Up the Night is typically a community-focused event that features illuminated displays and family-oriented activities. Such events often draw local residents, volunteers and small vendors and serve as seasonal gatherings that highlight neighborhood engagement.

Postponing a community event because of hazardous weather aims to protect attendees, volunteers and staff and to avoid travel risks. Organizers often reschedule rather than cancel outright to preserve planned programming and support for participating groups.

Attendees are advised to monitor the event’s official social media channels for updates and any changes to the schedule. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
