Officers find two men shot to death on Dogwood Trail in Jackson
JACKSON — Two men were found shot to death Sunday night on the 5300 block of Dogwood Trail near Oakridge Road, the Jackson Police Department said. Officers were dispatched about 10 p.m. March 2 after reports of a shooting, police said.
When Precinct 1 officers arrived, they discovered two deceased individuals at the scene — a Black male lying in a ditch and a white male lying in the street nearby, police said. Authorities identified the victims as 31-year-old Antonio Arnold and 63-year-old Glen McWilliams. Next of kin for both men have been notified, the department said.
The department’s Robbery/Homicide Unit and Mobile Crime Unit responded to the scene along with the Hinds County Coroner’s Office, police said. Jackson is the capital and most populous city of Mississippi.
