Ocean Springs police thank Raising Cane’s for free lunches
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. — The Ocean Springs Police Department thanked Raising Cane’s for providing sweet tea and free box lunches, the department said on its Facebook page.
The department, which provides municipal law enforcement services to the Mississippi Gulf Coast community, said the gesture was appreciated by officers and staff. Community support and small acts of kindness are often cited by agencies as important for morale and neighborhood relations.
Raising Cane’s is a national fast-food chain known for its chicken-finger meals and frequently participates in community events and charitable efforts. Businesses providing food or other support to first responders is a common form of local outreach that helps strengthen ties between commercial establishments and public safety agencies.
The department’s social post expressed gratitude for ongoing support from the restaurant. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
