Ocean Springs Police host South Mississippi law enforcement meeting
Ocean Springs Police Department hosted the South Mississippi Crime Meeting, bringing together more than 50 law enforcement professionals, Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers said in a Facebook post.
Organizers thanked D.R. Horton for sponsoring lunch, noting officers enjoyed meals from Rib Crib. The post also thanked Melisa and Mark from the new PJ’s Coffee location in Ocean Springs for providing iced and hot coffee for attendees.
Overwatch Supply in Ocean Springs provided door prizes, the post said, including a dagger, a flashlight and a custom holster. Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers said agencies from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast attend the bi-monthly meetings to collaborate, share information and learn about emerging trends in narcotics, criminal investigations and public safety.
The group invited businesses or organizations interested in sponsoring future meetings to contact Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers via private message, the post said. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
