Mississippi issues Silver Alert for 63-year-old Jackson man

JACKSON — The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday issued a Silver Alert for a 63-year-old Jackson man who was last seen Thursday morning, the agency said.

Greg King was last seen about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26 in the 1600 block of Westhaven Boulevard in Jackson, the bureau said. Authorities said he was walking in an unknown direction at the time.

King is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, the bureau said. Family members told authorities that King suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.

The Silver Alert was issued on behalf of the Jackson Police Department. Anyone with information about King’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department or local law enforcement immediately. Silver Alerts are used to help locate missing adults, often seniors or people with cognitive impairments, by notifying the public and law enforcement.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
