Lowndes County posts weekly wanted bulletin
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. — The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office posted a weekly wanted persons bulletin Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, listing individuals who had active warrants at the time of the posting, the office said.
The sheriff’s office said warrant status may change and some warrants may no longer be active when viewed. It reiterated that all subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Authorities asked anyone with information about the whereabouts of those featured to contact the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. To remain anonymous, callers may contact Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151 or submit a tip using the P3Tips app. Tips that lead to an arrest or solve a crime may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 through Crime Stoppers.
The office warned that some individuals may be dangerous and urged the public not to confront or attempt to apprehend anyone. The post was signed by Sheriff Eddie Hawkins. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
