Lowndes County posts Warrant Wednesday wanted bulletin
The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office posted a “Warrant Wednesday Weekly Wanted Persons Bulletin” on its Facebook page, highlighting individuals who had active warrants at the time of the posting, the office said.
The bulletin noted that warrant status may change and that some warrants may no longer be active when viewed. The sheriff’s office also reiterated that all subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and asked anyone with information about the whereabouts of the featured individuals to contact the office.
Weekly wanted bulletins are a tool many law enforcement agencies use to alert the public and solicit tips that can aid investigations and remove potentially dangerous individuals from the community. The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for public safety and court-related duties in Lowndes County, Mississippi, and said the notices are part of those efforts.
