Deputies responded at approximately 9:20 a.m. on March 22, 2026, and found the business had been forcibly entered, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators found three windows smashed, the area surrounding the cash register ransacked and, most critically, a Canik handgun missing from inside the restaurant. The cash register itself remained unopened, the office said.

The sheriff’s office asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477). Officials said anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,500.
