The Jackson Police Department is asking the public for help locating 39-year-old Jeris Lincoln, who was last seen around Dec. 7, 2025, at an unknown address on Skyline Drive, the department said in a Facebook post.
Lincoln has a mental impairment, authorities said, and police characterized his disappearance as a matter of public concern. The Jackson Police Department is the local law enforcement agency responsible for investigating missing-person reports in its jurisdiction.
Missing-person cases involving adults with mental impairments are often time-sensitive because those individuals may be less able to seek help or care for themselves, public safety experts say. Police often rely on tips from residents, surveillance footage and routine checks of known locations when conducting searches.
