JACKSON, Miss. — Hinds County authorities identified two teenagers found shot to death Sunday as 16-year-old Terry Burrell Jr. and 16-year-old Khloe Hudson, the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sanitation workers discovered the youths around noon on the side of the road in the 1700 block of South Springdale Road, the sheriff’s office said. Both had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and investigators are treating the deaths as a double homicide, authorities said.
The sheriff’s office said both teens had been reported missing to the Jackson Police Department within the previous 24 hours. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office at 601-352-1521 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS, the agency said.
