The Hattiesburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect after an armed robbery Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in the 1800 block of Lincoln Road, the department said.
At approximately 4:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress, Hattiesburg police said. A Black male entered the business, demanded money and fled in a white or silver passenger car with an undetermined amount of cash before officers arrived.
The department described the suspect as wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, black-and-white shoes and a gray hat. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help identify the suspect is asked to call Hattiesburg Police at 601-544-7900 or contact Crime Stoppers, the department said.
