The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying a person shown in images connected to a truck theft on Jan. 24, 2026.
Investigators said the individual stole a truck from a business on Canal Road. The still image released by authorities shows the suspect’s right hand, and officials hope the public can help establish the person’s identity.
The images were posted by Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers on social media. Crime Stoppers is a community program that works with law enforcement to solicit anonymous tips and sometimes offers rewards for information that leads to arrests or recoveries.
Authorities ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling Crime Stoppers. Investigators said tips must be submitted directly through Crime Stoppers to be eligible for any reward.
Authorities said they are continuing to investigate and are seeking assistance to recover the stolen vehicle and hold those responsible accountable. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
