Foggy morning gives way to spring-like temperatures
Areas of fog, some of it locally dense, are possible through this morning, Darkhorse Press reported Tuesday. Motorists are urged to use low-beam headlights, allow extra distance between vehicles and plan for longer-than-usual travel times.
After the morning fog clears, forecasters expect high temperatures to reach the upper 70s and lower 80s, with partly cloudy skies and generally dry conditions for the day, Darkhorse Press said.
Fog commonly forms when moisture near the ground condenses in cool overnight air, reducing visibility for drivers and delaying commutes. The combination of a foggy start and mild, dry afternoon can affect morning rush-hour travel while offering warmer, more pleasant conditions later for outdoor activities.
This advisory comes from a local news report; motorists should remain cautious while visibility is reduced. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
