Corinth opens arena warming station with meals

Corinth Police Chief Landon Tucker said the Corinth Arena is now operating as a warming station offering meals to anyone in need, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

The Corinth Police Department and local Emergency Management Agency services are making cots and blankets available, with additional supplies expected to arrive, Tucker said. He added that every effort is being made to ensure the safety and security of Corinth residents and that public safety remains his top priority.

Tucker urged residents to check on neighbors, report any suspicious activity and keep the community in their thoughts. Warming stations typically provide temporary shelter, food and a place to stay during periods of severe cold or emergency conditions.

Anyone needing transportation to the arena should call 662-286-7737. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
