Community stands with Reunite Mississippi at candlelight vigil

A Facebook post says community members are standing with Reunite Mississippi for a candlelight vigil to remember people who remain missing and to support the families who continue to search for answers.

The post describes the vigil as a time to honor those who are still missing and to stand beside families who “continue to search, hope, and advocate every single day” to bring loved ones home, the post said. It adds that each light represents a life that is deeply missed and a family still waiting for answers.

Reunite Mississippi is identified in the post as a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families when a loved one goes missing. Organizers invited the broader community to join in support, remembrance and efforts to raise public awareness about missing persons.

Such vigils and community gatherings aim to keep individual stories alive and to sustain public attention on missing-person cases, advocates say. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
