Organizers are holding a fundraiser Saturday, March 21, to support the family of Corporal Colby Huffman at the Village Cycle Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., organizers said in a Facebook post.
The post thanked the community for coming together to support “one of our own” and named local food providers Brian Michael’s Catering Co. and Blue Plate Mafia as participants, the post said.
Village Cycle Center is a local business hosting the event. Community fundraisers such as this often provide financial and practical support to families during difficult times and serve as a visible show of local solidarity.
